Brad Piazza has a keen background in real estate and diplomacy with a deep love of history, community and nature. Brad has been a leading voice in the revitalization, smart growth and success of Brunswick real estate. He founded Port City Partners, as a way to channel over two decades of expertise in commercial development, investment and consulting, while marrying it with his guiding passion for meaningful community growth.
Brad represents the City of Brunswick on the Board of Directors of the Golden Isles Convention and Visitors Bureau, and was appointed by the Mayor for his visions of a revitalized port city. Brad serves on the Board for the St. Simons Island Land Trust, focusing his energy on sustainable development practices. Brad is a member of the Frederica Academy Board of Visitors and an early supporter of the Gateway Campaign. He is a member of the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation, having won two Excellence in Rehabilitation awards for his development of the Leotis building (Port City Lofts) and Queen and Grant alongside his wife Lizzie, with whom he also shares his membership in the Friends of Coastal Georgia History. Brad and Lizzie were the recipients of the Historic Brunswick Foundation’s 2022 Preservation awards for their development of the Bijou Building and Port City Park. Brad was a founding board member of Forward Brunswick, the idea generator behind the Lucas Center and Economic Development Authority’s Developer’s Academy.
